We all love comfort, security, balance... It's amazing how quickly we get used to good things...things that make us feel good, things that satisfy the needs of both: body and soul. In good times we forget about bad times, we get lazy and forget what's really important. It happens so naturally that we start taking everything for granted forgetting that nothing is eternal and that for every bright day, there is a dark night. The question is...after getting hit by the reality of life do we still remember that after that dark night, there will be another bright day??
I do...I take my downs as a necessary part of my life. It's just something I have to deal with, get through with and learn from. Moreover I see bad times rather in a positive light. They let us know we need to change something. It's like a wake up call that makes us stop, think, rewind, review, search, analyze, think again, make conclusions, take actions and keep on moving. We grow and develop in hard times because we like comfort and we do anything to get it back. Difficulties teach us appreciate and remember the good times. Imagine life is a zebra...black white black white black white...now...what do you see? Do you see white with black stripes, or black with white stripes? Learn how to benefit from the bad times...that's the key.
